Hello, I’m Sara, a nostalgic soul—likely the reason I became a photographer. Photography is my way of proving to myself that a special moment existed, capturing it to remember forever. After all, isn’t photographing someone a way of keeping them with us in that particular moment? I believe memories shape our lives, defining who we are. In a sense, we are our memories.
I have the privilege of a very special job: capturing your memories on one of the most important days of your life or on an occasion you want to hold close. Using thoughtful light and composition, I aim for a beautiful aesthetic in every photo, but you will always be the main characters of the story.
Documenting the Best Memories for Couples Madly in Love, Worldwide
Through self-study, workshops in Italy and abroad with top photographers worldwide, and studies in reportage and film photography at Scuola Romana di Fotografia, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering my craft. I believe there is always room to grow, and I use quieter seasons to continue learning and experimenting with new techniques.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Through self-study, workshops in Italy and abroad with top photographers worldwide, and studies in reportage and film photography at Scuola Romana di Fotografia, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering my craft. I believe there is always room to grow, and I use quieter seasons to continue learning and experimenting with new techniques.
In no particular order: the sea, my family, comics and illustrated books (there’s so much to learn from them!), good movies and going to the cinema, experimenting with new vegan recipes, old photos of unknown people (imagining their lives), cats, traveling (and coming home), and observing the world through frames, like cityscapes through my apartment windows or landscapes from a train.
My career began as a documentary family photographer, capturing my own family and others for about 10 years. This was some of the best training I could have, photographing children in challenging light and with no opportunity for posing. Moving into event photography felt natural; I was prepared to capture fleeting moments quickly. I’ve combined this documentary style with editorial-style portraits, inspired by great fashion photographers, to offer my clients a complete experience.
